AIR FORCE FIELDS

Take the north entrance to the Air Force Academy and drive west toward the guard shack; have your driver’s license, car registration and updated proof of insurance  in case they are checking ID’s.  Head WEST on this same street; do not turn off to go toward the fields house; continue west until this same street goes downhill and turns south.  Just as it turns south, turn left into the paved street . If you continue driving and you are heading south with lots of field on your left, you missed the turn at the bottom of the hill.  Follow this street as it curves between the tiers of fields to the 3rd (lowest)tier of soccer fields.  Turn right on the street that separates the soccer fields from the baseball fields below. Games are usually played on the corner field on the right or the 2nd field in, across from the bathroom building  by the baseball fields.

GOSSAGE PARK

Gossage is not far from the intersection of I-25 and Garden of the Gods Road.  Take Garden of the Gods east from I-25.  You will go only about 1/4 mile before coming to Mark Dabbling Drive.  It is directly after the railroad track you drive under, and just past the Carl's Jr.  Take Mark Dabbling Drive south, about 1/2+ mile. The SECOND soccer field you come to on the right is the adult field.  It is one field south and across from the skateboard park.  The one directly across from the skateboard park is a youth field.  If you feel like you are squeezed in on an 8 x 8 player field, go one field south.

DISCOVERY PARK in Rockrimmon

Take Woodman Road West of I-25.  Turn right to continue on Woodman Road (2nd stoplight west of I-25, at the Windchime Center).  (Be wary of Woodman Valley Chapel traffic at this next left turn...it is an accident waiting to happen if the church is getting out )Turn left on Ravin Hills Road (1st actual street on the left), when the street T’s, turn left onto Ravin Hills Court and follow that street until it also T’s, then turn left again and the field is on the left.

FLANAGAN PARK (not far from Fillmore and Nevada)

On Fillmore, between Nevada and Union, look for Prospect.  If you are coming from Union, Prospect is west of Union about 8 streets; if coming from Nevada, Prospect is East of Nevada (about 4 streets).  Head NORTH on Prospect, park will be about 4 blocks north, on the west side of Prospect.

ST. MARYS

From Fillmore and Hancock (Hancock is between T-Gap and Prospect), go north on Hancock past Edison Elementary.  Hancock will curve to the right at a fork in the road.  You will go up a short steep hill and over a small bridge.  Just past the bridge, enter a circle and take the first right.  The entrance is on the right (Across the traffic circle from the Portal Pool).

From Austin Bluffs and Union, go south on Union.  Turn right onto Acacia, entrance on the immediate left.  If this entrance isn't open proceed to Newcastle and turn left.  Follow Newcastle around to Hancock.
